(Lucy R. Meyer, เพลง "He Was Not Willing")

September 15

"The end of all things is at hand."
(1 Peter 4:7)

The mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; only God’s word, love and purposes will remain the same.

The world passes away; but the one who does God’s will lives forever.

The end of all things is near; our work will soon end, trade will cease, relationships dissolve; the last sermon will be preached; and the last opportunity to do good will pass.

The coming of Jesus draws near; let us be preparing ourselves for that great day; and whenever tempted to waste time or sin, remember "The Lord is at hand." (Philippians 4:5)

Let us be ready to welcome Him with gladness and rejoicing.

"Master, forgive, and inspire us anew;
To live with eternity’s values in view."
(Lucy R. Meyer, hymn "He Was Not Willing")
