"Christ has truly set us free."
(Galatians 5:1)

We were slaves to sin, Satan and the world; we were "under the law" - trying to keep God’s commands and failing - but Jesus set us free!

We are delivered from the law, and are under grace; delivered from Satan, and are at war with him. We overcome the world, and are hastening out of it. We are at liberty to serve God, and walk with Him in fellowship and holy love.

The infinite everlasting love of God, the Father, sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus, to this world to live and die for sinners, and the Holy Spirit worked in our hearts giving us faith to believe the message of freedom found in the Bible.

Now we may serve our God in righteousness all our days, and look forward to heaven. We are freed from sin so that we may be holy and happy.

"Out of my bondage, sorrow and night,
Jesus, I come. Jesus I come;
Into Thy freedom, gladness and light,
Jesus, I come to Thee."
(William True Sleeper, hymn "Coming to the Lord")
