"Speak evil of no one."
(Titus 3:2)

We are commanded by our Saviour to love our enemies; to do good to those who hate us, and hurt us; to pray for them and seek their salvation.

If we speak evil of anyone we dishonour God; bring guilt upon ourselves and displease the Holy Spirit.

As believers in Jesus we are not our own. He has paid the price for our salvation by His death on the Cross. We are His- including our tongues!

Never allow yourself to think evil of others; to be jealous of others; to feel angry and bitter, or seek revenge. Take it to God in prayer, and leave it with Him. He will right every wrong in His time.

"Lord, let the words I speak
Be pleasing in Your sight,
And may my inmost thoughts
Be in Your judgement right.
O Lord, You are a Rock to me;
You have redeemed and set me free."
(Sing Psalms 19:14)
